In 1989, Ethiopian star Abebe Mekonnen won the men's side in 2:09:06, and Ingrid Kristiansen took the women's title in 2:24:33. Abebe went on to break Bill Rodgers' record for most sub-2:15 Marathons–a total of 32. This tee features the iconic BAA unicorn logo at the chest, distressed cuffs and neckline, and "Boston Marathon" script on the left sleeve.
